Wineskin is a tool used on macOS computers to run Windows-based applications. It acts as a wrapper around Windows software, allowing them to operate on Mac systems without needing a Windows operating system installed.

Essentially, Wineskin creates a compatibility layer that includes everything the application needs to run. Users can install and manage these Windows applications through a simple graphical interface, making it accessible even for those without technical expertise in software emulation.

Installing Prerequisites

Lets install Homebrew. Open your applications folder and find Terminal. Once Terminal opens copy and paste this command into Terminal.

Next Step

Paste this following command into Terminal.

brew install --cask --no-quarantine gcenx/wine/wineskin

Create a New Wrapper

Open Wineskin Winery from your Applications folder.

Click on the [+] button under “Installed Engines” to download the latest engine, press Download & Install. The engine should show as installed.

Once the engine is installed, click “Create New Blank Wrapper”. Name your wrapper (this will be the name of the application as it appears in macOS) example: Omega Launcher and click “OK”. Your wrapper will be located inside of ~/Applications/Wineskin

Last Steps

Once installation is complete, you can start the application by directly launching the wrapper (whatever you named it) from the Applications folder.

Once the popup opens press Install Software followed by Copy a Folder Inside then you can select the location you downloaded the Omega Launcher Folder and press Choose

Now close Wineskin and exit out of the wrapper. You should be able to launch the Omega Launcher (wrapper you created) from the applications folder and enter the hotel.
